Class Descriptions

1. Barre Fusion:

E
Barre fusion class is a hybrid practice combining ballet inspired moves with elements of Pilates, Yoga and strength training. This low impact class focuses on high reps and small range movements for long lean muscles, joint stability and strength of mind, body and spirit. Each movement is followed by a stretch. We consider this class “fine tuning” for the body.

*Dance experience not required and all levels encouraged.

2. Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga is a variation of traditional Hatha Yoga which was created to allow yoga accessible for all body types and levels. This class focuses on supporting the practitioners mental, physical and spiritual needs; providing therapeutic modifications to common yoga poses. Props are often used to help clients achieve the maximum benefit from the asana (posture).

*No experience necessary, ideal for beginners or those looking to slow down their normal more
rigorous practice.

3. Happy Hour Yoga

Happy Hour Yoga is exactly what it sounds like! A relaxed practice that encourages freedom of movement and thought, preparing the practitioner for a wonderful, healthy weekend. This class takes the client’s needs first and accommodates all requests. Show up and let’s have some fun!

*No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

4. Hatha / Anusara Yoga

Hatha / Anusara Yoga guides the practitioner through a class that focuses on proper body alignment and attention to detail. This class weaves together deep spiritual teachings with precise principles of traditional Hatha Yoga. This is also great for someone new to yoga that is interested in understanding the asanas (postures) of yoga.

*No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

5. Mandala Vinyasa Yoga

Mandala Vinyasa Yoga is a practice which honors the creative energy in all its manifestations. Integrating the spiral patterns that nature uses to shape and create the material and energetic worlds. Opening us up into deeper introspection as we move and expand around the mat. This practice leads us into places that our awareness would not have accessed by following a linear pattern. This methodology is highly influenced by the 4 elements: Air, Earth, Fire & Water.

Using repetition as a means to continuously visit the target areas of the body, creating familiarity and comfort while reinforcing different perspectives to attain our goals.

*No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

6. Niyama Soul Power HOT Yoga

Niyama Soul Power Yoga is our signature class created by our Founder, Nicole Zornitzer. This class is a kaleidoscope of meaningful expression through movement of the body; relying on the core values presented in Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Dynamic music is used to spark the soul-body connection. Attention is brought to the release of stagnant prana (energy), while simultaneously honoring the culmination of life’s journey. All creating a beautiful tapestry of the spirit. The soul is where we find ourselves, the practice is the compass to arrive.

*Intermediate to advanced levels recommended. Is done in a heated room.

7. Pilates Yoga Fusion

Pilates Yoga Fusion is a class that threads together the core values of yoga with the strengthening movements of traditional mat pilates. Attention is paid to the core strength and flexibility as well as incorporating yoga sun salutations to weave together a beautiful practice. You will leave with toned muscles and a lighter spirit.

*No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

14. Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While the practioner rests comfortably in savasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation guides you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.

*No experience necessary and all levels encouraged.

8. Power Vinyasa HOT & Non Heated

Power Vinyasa is a more rigorous practice focusing on alignment and body strength and flexibility. Attention is brought to the power within all bodies and our ability to separate ego from reality. This class introduces the traditional asana (postures) in a healthy way that encourages all practitioners to experiment with what the body is capable of while practicing in a safe environment.

*Beginner to Intermediate experience recommended. Is done in both heated and non-heated room.

9. Reiki Infused Niyama Power Yoga

Reiki Infused Niyama Power Yoga, another program developed by our Founder, Nicole Zornitzer; threads together the physical aspects of a rigorous vinyasa power class with the introspective and gentle offerings of Reiki Healing Energy. Each class begins with a Reiki centering dharma talk and moves fluidly through power vinyasa techniques. Each client receives individual attention throughout the class and the class completes with a beautiful savasana (corpse pose) and messages of encouragement.

*Intermediate experience recommended, however beginners can rest assured that they too will be made to feel comfortable and welcome.

10. The Barkan Vinyasa Method

The Barkan Vinyasa Method is a Hatha/Vinyasa style class is based on Jimmy Barkan’s Method of Hot Yoga, consisting of five Vinyasa flows that integrate many of the familiar postures in the Original Hot Yoga series. This class is dynamic and challenging but suitable for all levels; combining upper body strength, flexibility and cardiovascular exercise. It is a fairly set sequence of flows, new practitioners will quickly acclimate and experienced practitioners will be able to explore the depths of their practice and variations more easily.

*Suggested for the intermediate practitioner. Is done in a heated room.

11. Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga focuses on the mind / body connection using breath (pranayama) as our connection to movement. The practitioner will move fluidly from one asana (posture) to the next in tandem with proper breathing exercises.

*No experience necessary and all levels are encouraged.

12. Yin Yoga

E
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga in which yoga asanas (postures) are held for longer periods of time to penetrate the deepest tissues of the joints, bones, ligaments and deep fascia. This allows for increased flexibility in both the physical body and the emotional body. Yin’s main purpose is to provide grounding and gain the ability to slow down, listen to your body and learn to surrender to your practice.

*No experience necessary and all levels are encouraged.

13. Yoga for Every BODY

E
Yoga for Every BODY is for every level practitioner. We encourage acceptance of self, our varying body types and embrace all levels in a safe environment. Proper alignment and attention to detail is taught while introducing the core values of a dedicated yoga practice.

*No experience necessary, ideal for beginners or any BODY that is looking for a more relaxed approach to yoga.
